O`Brien leaves duo in Moulin

Aidan O`Brien today left Hawkeye and Beckett in Sunday`s Group One Prix du Moulin de Longchamp.

The Ballydoyle trainer withdrew Bach who runs in the Irish Champion Stakes instead of travelling to Paris.

Godolphin`s took out their Best Of The Bests but still have the option of being able to run French recruit Slickly.

Other withdrawals were Richard Hannon`s Sagitta 2000 Guineas second Tamburlaine and Prix Marcel Boussac winner Amonita.

The other British-trained acceptors are Distant Music (Barry Hills), Warningford (James Fanshawe), Danceabout (Geoff Wragg) and Olden Times (John Dunlop).

The four domestic acceptors are spearheaded by the two top-class milers from the Andre Fabre yard, Vahorimix and Banks Hill.

There are three Group races on the card and Mark Johnston`s evergreen Yavana`s Pace has stood his ground in the Group Three Prix Gladiateur over a mile and seven furlongs.

The Group Three Prix de Lutece over a mile and seven furlongs has three British acceptors - Aquarius (Dunlop), Capal Garmon (John Gosden) and Wareed (Godolphin).

The two cross channel defectors were Alleluia (Sir Mark Prescott) and Warrsan (Clive Brittain).
